Today Madeleine was being slightly difficult getting out of the car and into the house.
Being the mom that I am, I had my arms full. Bundled up in a bulky coat, trying to carry a half asleep baby in a bulky snowsuit, a diaper bag, two grocery bags and have keys in my hand to open the door. So, in all honesty, I did expect my almost 5 year old to carry her water bottle, and close her car door.
When we got into the house and I asked her to close the house door she looked at me and said, "Why do you treat me like Cinderella? I have to do eeeeeeverything."
