This morning on the way to school Madeleine was talking about Christmas trees.
She was talking about all the beautiful trees she was seeing along the drive that would be beautiful Christmas trees. Then she goes, "Mom, maybe this year we won't have to buy a Christmas tree. We could just get one from nature and that would be priceless!" That alone was both cute, and funny, but then she continued.."Like that one right there, it would be perfect!"
"Madeleine," I told her, "that tree IS perfect, but it's also in someone's front yard!"
Ha! What a funny girl!
