Update

It's about time for an update. There's craziness around the Joslin household these days.
We're living among boxes and moving tape.
In a month we'll be beginning a new adventure. We're moving out of our house June 26th.
On June 29th, Isaac will be leaving for Africa for a 6 week long research trip. He is finishing up the last bits of his dissertation and is really excited about plans he has to meet up with several African scholars who have agreed to work on his project with him. While he is away, Madeleine, Maxiel and I will be going up to Alaska to spend those weeks with my family. My brother Phillip is getting married in August and we're excited to be around for all the excitement. We are hoping they'll keep us busy and keep our minds off missing Isaac so much!
August 17th, the kids and I will fly back to Minneapolis, and then on to Mississippi where Isaac will have already started his new job.
We are excited about the new adventure, but really sad to leave our home here in Minneapolis.
I hope to keep the blog updated through the summer as a journal of sorts that Isaac can check while he's away, and Mado can use to tell about her days- to her daddy or friends that she's missing.
If the posting is sporadic over the next several weeks, now you know why :)
